The 2026 CS Connected Learning Experience (CSCLE) will take place September 27th-29th in Penobscot County. Group transportation from Bangor is provided throughout the experience.

Tentative Schedule (subject to change):
Sun, 9/27: 4 PM arrival at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bangor; 5 PM dinner and networking; 6 PM walk through agenda, set norms and expectations, and have icebreakers/team-building and/or trivia to get to know everyone in the cohort
Mon, 9/28: Viking Lumber in Holden; local builder/construction site (TBD); Bangor Savings Bank, Bangor; New England Outdoor Center, Millinocket; dinner at Knife's Edge Brewing and lodging at NEOC.
Tues, 9/29: NEOC & Maine Office of Tourism, Maine Heritage Timber; return to Bangor
Experience the power of real-world learning by joining our CSCLE bus tour, where you’ll see computational thinking and computer science skills in action across a variety of Maine industries. Participants will connect with industry leaders, build their professional network, and discover how emerging technology drives innovation across Maine’s economy.
A follow-up 80-hour externship (with an additional $2,000 stipend) at a Maine company will be coordinated for 10 educators. Past participants have gained hands-on experience at companies like Robbins Lumber, Maine Mill, MDI Biological Laboratory, WEX, Stratton Lumber, Sunday River, and more.
